how to set up a soul / funk band?

I've long been a fan of soul / funk music, especially 70s (James Brown stuff, etc.). I played bass in rock bands for about 10 years in experience as well. Who found any tips how to make a good band? I would like saxophone, trombone, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums and Hammond organist in the band, oh, and singers in N Ireland, the UK launch. Anybody any good ideas? would include a tape of their functions are likely for most Weddings, etc. That is the problem, how do I get band members? where can I find them?

Most importantly, you need to band members. Secondly, you will need a place to such as a basement, you and your band mates can just zone out and make music. Also, in the selection of the band members to try the people who have the personality of you choose. I have often seen, bands together, but the chemistry just isn't there. Also make sure that they are dedicated.
