Did we really need TWO GREASE films in a span of less than 20 years?
The new film does not seem necessary. There can be only good and beautiful But the world really need 2 movies on the exact same thing with such a relatively short period .. at least for me anyway. The first movie was great, and was DIVINE swan song, and one way that I remember the great comical talent that was in him and who are now gone, like Divine, Sonny Bono, Ruth Brown and. The original Hairspray seems like a Timecapsule, and an end to the old John Waters, time for me, and when I once again, it is like an old friend. Now we have this new movie HAIRSPRAY have. Does it seem un-necessary and maybe a little insulting to the original and the performers in it?
